  1. An amazing bass tour de forcefulness. That tone is incredible! I learned so many different techniques but from this isolated track alone. The Ox. Truly amazing.

    • I've seen this before, but man… never fails to impress.

    • One word (or is it ii words?): Feedback. On the BASS. Nuff said.

    • The other night in rehearsal, our drummer Korey said "I but watched a Who documentary and man, you play only like John Entwistle!". I consider that a compliment of the highest social club. Thanks @[1561459760:2048:Korey Kingston Horn].

  2. Sick Sick Sick! Go on Ox! :)

  3. one of a kind man..dig it!

  4. my offset bass eko cobra 2 very bad sound.

  5. Without Ox…there's no Geddy Lee.

  6. One of the Titans of Stone music.

So glad he didn't smash his instruments similar Pete…would have cried to come across that dazzler demolished.

  7. Jah Wobble could exercise this in his sleep

    • But could he practice information technology in 1965? Delight don't diss the man who created this sound and music. He was the only 1 doing this in the 60s and 70s. Then…Rush, Yes, and subsequently, PIL, and 10,000 others.

Jah was in elementary school when The Who start made their name. Respect your elders.

      • EXACTLY (and honestly…look at Entwistle he is doing it in his sleep. Effortless)

  8. I'g going to exist a pedant, and indicate out it's Shepperton :)

  9. Now, allow's hear "The Real Me" isolated!!!

  10. man, he plays soooo many notes. Entwistle to me is overrated.

    • As the the corking bassist Edgar Meyer once said in an interview, "Trying to play with taste tin sometimes exist a waste of time."

    • Careful, you might offend some hard core OX fans! Personally, I think the guy is a bit of a hack Sure he can play a lot of notes and he knows his instrument but really you lot only need to play half as many notes…cleanly! I adopt the playing accuracy and tone clarity of a John McVie or singing bass players like Randy Meisner or a Timothy Schmidt. Of grade its all music and this is just another stance and so don't puff up over some other indicate of view. Bear On everyone!

      • I am of the less is More than opinion, however JE was an incredible bass histrion and there are plenty who think so. Nevertheless its all individual opinion and gustatory modality i personally prefer Andy Frazer (Free).

      • John Entwistle was the perfect bass role player for Keith Moon's drumming. They were the perfect rhythm section for Pete Townsend's lead guitar. The three of them together were perfect for Roger Daltrey's vocals.

    • And whistle is overrated? How dare y'all say that. Evidently you're not a bassist

  11. Heard them live four times in the sixties.

He played Bass Guitar! Not Bass, strictly speaking. Not 'too many notes', either.

And, Moon did not play 'Drums', strictly speaking, either. But, I never heard anyone charge him of playing 'too many notes'.

Together with Townsend'south 'Power Rhythm Guitar', they created a virtually unique 'Sound' and a most unique 'Dissonance', that was 'Music' to my ears.

(No wonder I habiliment Hearing Aids, present ?)

  12. Heard them alive iv times in the sixties.

He played Bass Guitar! Not Bass, strictly speaking. Non 'likewise many notes', either.

And, Moon did non play 'Drums', strictly speaking, either. Only, I never heard anyone accuse him of playing 'besides many notes'.

Together with Townsend's 'Power Rhythm Guitar', they created a most unique 'Sound' and a about unique 'Noise', that was 'Music' to my ears.

(No wonder I habiliment Hearing Aids, present ?)

  13. He was absurd but when he got caught going through the metal detector with a foil wrapped zucchini in his pants it was hilarious.
